Happy World Vegan Day!
Here’s what I had for lunch today in honour of World Vegan Day. Home-made caponata, which is a traditional Mediterranean tomato sauce made with bell peppers, capers, onions, olives and oregano as the base ingredients.
I think veganism is a pretty challenging mission (I once went vegan for 5 weeks and almost lost my sanity!). I missed cheese so much, it made me very irritable and nervous. But you should try going vegan for a couple of days as a form of detox, perhaps?
