I like making cute and colourful pinwheels for dinner parties, there’s something so fun and versatile about them, and they could be just as cool for kids’ lunches for summer school. In this heat, we want fresh ingredients and bite-size lunches that don’t require much effort. Here’s how you can create a healthy & convenient lunch snack for the little ones in no time!

Steps

1
Done

Butter a room-temperature Tortilla wrap using Flora Original spread (some plant-powered goodness that spreads really well).

2
Done

Start laying your ingredients one by one, you don’t have to stick to those mentioned above but try to add a meat protein, a cheese variety and some sort of colourful veggies.

3
Done

Starting from the bottom, roll up the tortillas, pressing gently downwards so that all ingredients are secured in the wrap. Once a cylinder shape is formed, use a sharp knife to gently slice the individual pinwheels.

4
Done

Place them facing up in the lunch box or platter to reveal the colourful deliciousness.

The Cook

I will be sharing with you my daily experiences with food, whether that’s shopping for the right ingredients, understanding products and sharing with you simple culinary skills that I have learnt along the way. My mission is to make food preparation more enjoyable and rewarding.
