- Colman's Cheddar Cheese Sauce
- 1 Onions
- 3 small Garlic cloves
- 500ml Sugo di Pomodoro
- 500gr Shell Pasta
- 2 large Canned Tuna
- 1 tbsp dried Oregano
- Basil leaves
- Chilli flakes
Cook the pasta as per packet instructions minus two minutes – leaving it slightly uncooked. In a large pan, heat some olive oil & sauté the diced onions and once translucent, add also the chopped garlic. Then, add the sugo di pomodoro, the basil leaves, chilli & dried oregano, bring to boil and let it simmer on low heat for at least 15 minutes. Finally, add the tuna, mixing in gently.
Pour the pasta onto the red sauce in the pan, together with a little pasta water and mix well. Place the pasta in an ovenproof dish, spoon over the Colman’s Cheddar Cheese Sauce and decorate with a few basil leaves. Bake until golden brown.
