My husband has a bit of randomly inviting people over – without notice. For this reason, I always have emergency supplies like puff pastry in my fridge, which I can turn into a quick snack in no time. I created this recipe very ad hoc, and very risqué, but our friends loved it so I thought I’ll share it on the blog. Let me know if you try any other strange varieties!

Gently fold inwards about an inch from the bottom and an inch from the top. Then fold again onto each other until you get a narrow and long rectangle. Using a sharp knife, cut into half-inch slices and place into a dish lined with baking paper facing up. Brush with egg-wash (egg & water) to get a golden brown colour and if you like, finish off with some poppy seeds or sesame seeds. |
