- 200gr Wholemeal FlourYou may use white flour
- 100gr Maple SyrupYou may use Agave Syrup
- 25gr Olive oil
- 1tsp Ground ginger
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 1 Eggs
Disclaimer: they’re obviously sugar free if you skip the icing decoration 🙂 I found this recipe on my favourite food magazine Taste & Flair – the December issue. This is an ideal treat for those who, like me, love Christmas stuff but don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The ingredients are simple and so is the method. The recipe originally called for 1 tsp of ground ginger, but I would add an extra 1/2 for that spicy tinge.
