Steps

1
Done

I begin by brushing the pork with olive oil and season with salt & pepper. Then I seared the pork in a (very hot!) pan for about 2 minutes on each side. In the meantime, preheat the oven at 150°, that's if you have time to let it cook slowly for about 2 to 3 hours depending on the weight of the pork. In a bowl, mix together the Maille Wholegrain Mustard, the balsamic glaze and the soy sauce and then brush the seared pork with the mixture. Place in an oven dish with a rack so that the excess fats (and there will be lots!) drip off.

Done

Once done, it should look something like this and the smell is invigorating! Make sure that the fluid runs clear when you poke the pork.

3
Done

Pulled pork is best pulled apart when still hot. I use two forks to pull the pork apart into small pieces and onto a serving dish.

4
Done

Once done, serve in a fresh, lightly toasted bun with a little BBQ sauce and a very cold beer!
